Rising Pathways, powered by Kings Rising, is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. This notice applies when you browse the website, join a waitlist, send an enquiry, make a privacy request or book an experience.
Information we collect
- Contact and work information you enter into our forms, including your name, email address, role, organisation and the answers you provide.
- Booking and transaction information received from Stripe, including your name, email address, payment status, amount, currency and Stripe booking references. Stripe handles card details; Rising Pathways does not receive or store full card details.
- Limited technical and security information produced when the site is delivered, such as IP address, browser details and security events.
- Session recording content only where participants have been told about the recording and have consented.
Why we use it
- To answer enquiries, assess applications, administer bookings and deliver the experience. We rely on steps requested before a contract and performance of a contract.
- To send optional updates only where you have chosen to receive them. We rely on consent, which you can withdraw.
- To secure the website, prevent abuse, maintain records and meet legal obligations. We rely on legitimate interests and legal obligations where applicable.
We do not use your information for solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Who processes it
We use service providers to operate the website and programme, including OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and security, Supabase for private form storage, Google Sheets through the Lovable connector for operational records and Stripe for payments. Providers may process information outside the UK using their applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful applications and general enquiries: up to 12 months after the last contact.
- Waitlist details: until you ask to be removed or after 24 months without engagement, whichever comes first.
- Booking and accounting records: up to six years where needed for tax, accounting or legal requirements.
- Privacy-rights requests: up to three years after the request is closed so we can demonstrate how it was handled.
- Recordings: only for the stated learning purpose and reviewed for deletion when that purpose ends.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. We use only the essential cookies described below. They are required for security or to remember that you have seen the cookie notice, so they cannot be switched off.
- __cf_bm: Cloudflare may set this short-lived cookie to distinguish legitimate visitors from malicious or automated traffic and keep the site available.
- rp_cookie_notice: remembers for six months that you have acknowledged the essential-cookie notice, so it is not shown on every visit.
Stripe applies its own cookie and privacy information only when you choose to continue to its separately hosted checkout. If we add analytics, advertising or any other optional cookies in future, we will ask for your consent before setting them and provide an equally clear way to refuse or withdraw that consent.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
